What's SNAPPING !!!
5/21/13-- Inshore-- On 1/20/12 we caught the new Va. state record striper, 74lbs.!!! Finally after 8 weeks of way below temps., we are getting back on track. We are still a week later than normal. Flounder are still hit and miss; big red and black drum are cooperating nicely. The blues are here . Croakers are cooperating. Spadefish are here but have not starting biting yet, any day now...triggerfish also are in this catagory. COBIA by the end of next week?
Intermediate-- Sea Bass (closed), BIG togs, big Blues and a few Flounder.
Deep Dropping-- Plenty of Corpulent Blueline tilefish, Giant Snowy Groupers, numerous Blackbellied Rosefish, Big Wreckfish, Barrelfish, Monkfish, Cod, etc. This trip is very productive, and it is year round.
Offshore-- SEE DEEP DROPPING - Tuna are here if the weathere will just cooperate!!.
NOTE:: Book your trip now. The weekends fill up fast. Don't delay in getting in on the action. Weekdays are better because of crowding on the choice spots. Fridays are the best.
